Historic Richmond Foundation
In 2014 the Historic Richmond Foundation lent the use of Monumental Church to the United Daughters of the Confederacy (UDC). The Richmond Free Press, made inquries about this, and got a rather dismissive reply by the Historic Richmond Foundation.

Given that the Historic Richmond Foundation was willing to lend their facilities to a neo-Confederate organization and that the Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV) were planning to have their 2015 national reunion in Richmond the Historic Richmond Foundation was written asking them to not lend their facilities to the SCV. The letter was sent to the director of the Foundation and copies sent to every officer and board member of the Historic Richmond Foundation, to the sponsors of the renovation of Monumental Church if an address could be found, and the Richmond City Council members.
As of 2/28/2015 there has been no reply from anyone connected with the Foundation or sponsors.
