Tom C. Gooch Elementary School 

Tom C. Gooch's editorial against the federal anti-lynching bill that was before the house. Gooch denounces it as vicious. He praises U.S. House Rep. Hatton Sumners as a hero for his opposition to the anti-lynching bill. He also makes it clear that the Supreme Court expansion proposed by President Franklin Roosevelt is a threat to white supremacy in the South.
