Boston Avenue Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma Campaign 2014 UDC National Convention
The Boston Avenue United Methodist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma ended up hosting the United Daughters of the Confederacy (UDC) in 2014 despite being given documentation of their racist ideas and activities. The primary strategy of the United Methodist Church (UMC) was to not respond to my letters.
Despite the UMC so-called Great Commission on Race and other professions of anti-racism they still decided to lend their facilities to the UDC. The following is the correspondence I sent to various officials of the UMC and others in Tulsa, Oklahoma. You can also open up the document by clicking on this link.
